The NEW ARES Amoeba M4/M16 140rd Mid-Cap Airsoft Magazine is compatible with alot of AEG's, infact im finding it hard to find a AEG where this mag does not feed. The sportline magazines are a plastic contruction for reduced weight and rubber for durability.
All Amoeba mags come with High strength springs and are capable of feeding at high ROF (currently tested to feed flawlessly @ 40rps)
They are well-designed and durable and can take a lot of abuse. The mag’s exterior features stippling, which gives it its distinctive tactical look, while still providing a non-slip grip.
One of the most useful features is the tab assist, which is a folding rubber that allows for quick drawing the magazine with a single finger, which is basically a pre-installed magpul, but its folds away aswell. The tab assist also acts as a cushion when dropped, especially handy if your a butter fingers.
The Sportline mags are a cheaper option compared to the premium type, These magazines are a traditional 2 piece design with the obvious difference being no fake bullet window. They are also made of a plastic not nylon fiber like the premium versions. but have access to the mag spring via screw located on the base of the magazine, and still feed just as well.
